This is Jean-Paul Tassé (Warrant officer retired), departed husband to Rita Tassé and grandfather of the Thomas Tassé. Jean-Paul Tassé passed away 3 Nov 2013 and, of course, would have loved to be at his grandson's wedding. Jean-Paul Tassé served in the Canadian military beginning his 33 year career during WWII in the Royal Canadian Ordnance Corps. My dad always took an interest in all his grandkids and I remember when Thomas was working at WSI in 2004, my dad asked to go and see where Thomas worked, so we all went and visited. Jean-Paul Tassé was a caring soul and one that you'd want to call, father, grandfather, great-grand father, godfather or even friend. We know you would have loved to see Thomas get married which is why your pictorial representation was there. We are sure, that from the heavens above, you are watching and caring for him and this union with Kheayali. God bless you.

Kheayalis dad, Atul left for his heavenly abode suddenly in Feb 2017.

He had a dream, to see Kheayali graduate, work in Canada, become a Canadian citizen and get married to Mr Right.

The first two he saw and was happy to see her moving up in life.  He was there in spirit with her at her citizenship ceremony as also at the wedding of his precious daughter.

He would have been a proud proud dad.

Atul was passionate about photography and was all set to be  the photographer at the wedding along with Pierre. A few minutes before he had his cardiac arrest, he was talking about what he was wearing at the wedding which was to be held after 3 months in July 2017.

He had helped Kheayali shop for her wedding dress from Qatar via facetime.

Kheayali was the apple of her father’s eye. They shared a very special relationship.

Kokila and Ravindra Kapadia.

Kheayalis maternal grandmother and grandfather. Whom she called Mammaji and Pappaji.
She was their first grandchild, born to their eldest daughter Sangeeta.

Kheayali was born in Mumbai from their house. As expected, Kheayali was spoiled rotten by them. Kheayali spent the first ten years of her life in a small green coastal town of Ratnagiri, 350 km from Mumbai. Both grandparents would come to see their granddaughter as often as they could. They would have loved to see their granddaughter become the strong independent woman she is today. Unfortunately that was not to be, Kokila passed on in Dec 2000 less than three years after her husband Ravindra.
