A Canadian supporter of St Andrews Legacy was in town and at the Fairmont. So we got to meet him and his wife. Nice people-of course-they're Canadians.
Then they came down to the first tee to see us off
Jim's tee shot. You may not get a good visual, but you needed a clean 225 yards to get over the gully of trees and onward to the green. A daunting tee shot to say the least. Fun tee shot for sure.
Rick's shot...good extension Rick...you can just see the ball beginning its journey
Always great sites and good visuals for pictures
During the round, I noticed a cave...
The Fairmont hotel in the background. Jim is putting and Derek and Rick are looking on
I can just hear Rick saying 'how far"
And that is where my laser range finder comes in...my garmin S1 watch does not work over seas
What a fantastic view of the golf, the water and in the distance...who knows?
What a beautiful landscape and to take your tee shot and have this face you...what a distraction....but what a place!
The four Canadians
Here I am off the tee and St Andrews in the background. What a good picture and memories
A missed putt which seemed to have hurt Rick as much as me ;)
As the day wore on, the sweaters were on again and off again.
We were supported by Soldier On and we sure appreciated their support
At the end of the round, they have an air hose to clean off your shoes.
